Bespoke satellite systems for a sovereign mission capability.

Clear Space Technologies is an Australian-owned space company originally established to provide reliable, bespoke mechatronic systems for small satellites.

Our scope has since expanded to include the development of a satellite constellation intended to provide Australia with sovereign options for satellite communications, Earth observation and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.

Before establishing Clear Space Technologies, our team developed extensive knowledge in both academia and industry, designing, building and testing space systems and developing satellites for other Australian companies.

Today, our focus is harnessing this experience to engineer an operational Australian space system that not only provides our country with a dedicated satellite constellation, but also a mechanism that will substantially grow Australia's Space engineering capability.

Meet the people behind the mission.

Roger Dudziak

Director Mechanical Structures and Spacecraft Systems

Roger founded Clear Space Technologies and Consulting in 2024 to follow his passion for all things Engineering and Space, as well as his strong desire to create his own path in the industry. Leading up to this endeavour, Roger gained extensive experience in space system research and development, obtaining an innovation patent for a small satellite thermal control system which was launched aboard a JAXA HII-A vehicle. He also gained extensive satellite development and integration experience as Mission Manager and Mechanical Team Lead with Australian satellite manufacturing company, Skykraft.

Alongside a determination to develop an Australian satellite constellation capability, Roger has a deep passion to grow Clear Space Technologies in order to provide exciting opportunities for Australian Space Engineers.

Felipe Barboza

Director Communications Systems and Software

Felipe is a communications engineer with experience across signal processing, communications systems, RF, software development, and systems engineering. He has led and contributed to projects involving satellite communications, signal detection for Wi-Fi System On a Chip (SoC) applications, sensor localisation, and embedded software.

He holds a Master’s degree in visible light communication and a PhD in radio-frequency interference detection and mitigation for GNSS. He has worked with organisations including HP, Siemens and Morse Micro across research, commercial and defence applications, bringing a strong technical foundation to the development of satellite and space-based communications systems.
